Vehicle Detail
Hello, up for bid is a very nice tribute Buick T-Type . Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I have owned this car for several years. I have completely redone it into a perfect clone of the turbo T-types , Just a few things I have added: T-type steering wheel, all required emblems for car including: turbo gauge cluster, the small dash bezel that reads 3.8 turbo below the gauges on the gauge trim panel, 8.5 posi diff w/342 gears, amber front turn signal lens, a rear spoiler off a GN, that was 350.00 by it self. the turbo steel hood 500.00 by itself. header panel emblem 125.00, really good and clean carpet, complete interior change over, seats, door panels, center console 280.00 by itself, the floor shifter, has new power window motors, new gas tank with new fuel pump mounted inside it just like it came from factory. The engine is out of a 1998 Chevy .Its a vortec 350 which has a factory roller camshaft. The intake, throttle body, and fuel injection system is from a 1994 Chevy C1500. I incorporated the 1987 wiring harness of this car to adapt to the 1994 wiring harness. I used the complete wiring harness and computer from the same 1994 C1500 truck. As you can probably tell by now I spent a lot of money and even more time converting it . It just needs to be finished aka.. exhaust, longer shifter cable, and reinstall a/c. The brackets are there just not the a/c compressor. It was originally a 3.8 v6 car with 200 metric trans and a 241 open rear differential. This car has been extensively redone in the T-Type style. vortec 350 engine with fuel injection283 roller comp camshaft specs are, int.283, exh. 303 part # is 08-600-8 comp camsduel exhaust w/ flowmaster mufflers200r4 transmissionfactory 8.5 rear end with 342 gears out of a real GNduel cooling fansnew radiatornew water pumpfloor shifter bucket seats newer carpetCD player steel GN / T-Type turbo hood w/ fresh hood supports 3.8 turbo header panel ornament paint job was done over 3 years ago. It still looks really good. hurricane alloy wheelsand many many more items. you will have to see pics The engine , transmission, rear end are all in good shape. the interior is in above condition I have installed bucket seats but I do have seat covers over them they are not ripped just not a perfect match to the rest of the interior.I replace the factory cam in this engine with the 283 comp cam and upgraded the valve springs to match this cam. Now for the bad: The paint has a few places it has chipped off.. on front fender and hood, also has chip around rear glass. remember this paint is over 3 years oldI haven't been able to hook up shifter , the cable is there as well as the brackets needed on the transmission but I may have purchased a Camaro shifter cable and its about 2 inches to short .The duel exhaust is home made and it is functional, how ever its not pretty , since the car looks so good would recommend a exhaust shop do it better This car is Chevy powered with fuel injection and you don't have to run high octane fuel. It is in really nice condition I get thumbs up and great complements every where I go with it. If you saw this car was at a dealership they would be asking at least TWICE the amount that I'm asking for, it if not more. Thanks for looking and happy bidding On Jul-20-13 at 19:31:48 PDT, seller added the following information: To anybody reading this detail on car, An E-Bayer just asked me a question, I stated that I could build another one for this price, SORRY that statement is incorrect, I COULD NOT build another one for this price. sorry about that. wrong info.
