This is a Ford Ranger Edge that my husband crashed in January. This was a really great truck until that time. He put the truck into a ditch and tipped onto its side. We are not sure whether the frame is bent or not, but think that it could be. We purchased this truck from a young man who had rebuilt it from salvage. It had no problems at the time of my husbands accident. The front is pushed into the fan, and the radiator may be busted, but the engine itself should be fine. Since the front is pushed in, we have not tried to start the truck, not wanting to cause anymore damage to it. The transmission should also be fine. The truck mainly suffered only front end and cab damage. We had a plastic toolbox in the bed of the truck, but during the crash, the screws holding it came out of the plastic, and the toolbox slammed into the tailgate springing it. It does not close properly now. The bed of the truck seems to be okay. The interior of the truck is mainly okay. The roof of the truck came down on the drivers side, so the headliner is down, and there is glass in the interior because all windows were busted. But the seats and gauges all seem to be fine. We had just installed a new fuel pump onto the truck with a price tag of over $200.
