Vehicle Detail
Hi.... Thanks for looking.... First off lets get one thing straight. If this bike had the right hook ups.... I'd marry her and dump the old lady. (I hope she doesn't read this). In fact, my wife doesn't want me to sale her. She told me I've spent so much time and money fixing her up..she knows what this bike means to me. The second thing I can tell you is that every time this bike goes someplace, Like let say a poker run... it is extremely popular. People hurry right by those High dollar store bought customs Harley's to get a closer look. Some will be trying to figure out where the shocks are, some will be reading the funny decals, some will be just digging the overall look, and some just shake their heads, but EVERYBODY smiles. Just another fact that I've learned..It seems for some reason... the lady's seem to love this bike....sorry to say even the ugly ones....but that will be your job to sort that detail out... This is not a distress sale. I don't have to sell it. I bought it from man in Daytona Beach Fl. on the idea to fix her up and sale. The most unique thing about this bike is the color scheme. If you stand on one side, everything is red, the other side, yellow. The second thing is the punisher skull. The skull swings back 'n' forth like a pendulum, suspended from a pivot so that it can swing freely. When you lean the bike around a corner, it leans with you. It's 1/4 raw steel ( very heavy ) that's been buffed and coated with oil. The eye's light up along with the brake lights. You won't find another like her, no were.... I cut the punisher skull out of 1/4 inch plate steel with a plasma cutter at work. Bought top dollar LED lights for the eye's and mounted it on a (never used) sissy bar. This sissy bar can be removed if you don't like the look..... The bike started out as a 1973 Triumph Tiger 750 but it is titled as a 73 bonnie and that is what it is still titled as. The numbers on the frame do match the straight up, (no rebuilt salvage, liens etc.) Georgia title in my name, in hand..The bike has a lower mileage 1978 Triumph 750 Bonneville (twin carb) engine with a left side shifter (73 still shifted on the right). The engine runs great, and I know for a fact that it has almost no miles on new pistons and bore job. The head has obviously been freshly bead blasted, but I don't know what work was done to it. (Top end work was done long after the redo and has almost no miles BTW.) The mileage stated for eBay of 3000 is NOT the original mileage. It is simply what the custom speedometer says. The bike has 19" front and 16" rear Harley mag wheels. The front brake is 73 Triumph,as is the front fork. Just installed / Boyer Bransden Ignition / $169.00 The rear brake? 'Couldn't tell you. Both the multi piston rear caliper and the rear master cylinder are from some sort of sport bike. The floorboards are Harley, as is the rear brake pedal on the right side. The shifterfeatures a heel and toe arrangement that has both shifters out of the way of your foot when resting on the floorboard. The tires, o-ring chain and sprockets were all new when the bike was redone and are excellent. The one of a kind mono shock rear suspension was fabricated using a Harley swing arm and single shock and linkage robbed from some sort of 4 wheel ATV. It is almost completely hidden and works surprisingly well. In fact, between the floorboards, tallish bars, and supple rear suspension, this is one of the more comfortable custom motorcycles I've ridden, even for a fairly big guy like myself. The twin high style head pipes were handmade, fitted with fishtail extensions, and then wrapped. In the pic.s It shows the first set of carbs I had bought. I changed them to a new set of $330.00 Amal's. This bike sounds bad ass.. I just added a front fender (off a Triumph trophy ) It cost me 100.00 on Ebay.Put on a Harley soft tail fender. It's cost was 59.00They both have fresh paint to match the bikes two tone color.Has new filter OIF filter kit that cost 86.00.New Mono shock.I bought a new pair of turn signals. so the ones in the pic. have been replaced. She starts first kick maybe two. The bike never dripped any oil until I changed out the gear and engine oil after I bought it. I think it's because I used the same compression washer on the drain plug. It drips just one or two a day. Not bad , just marking it's space.I bought a new pair turn signals No warranty is implied, vehicle is sold as is where it is, pick up and shipping is responsibility of buyer and not of seller. I will help any way I can, meeting shippers at my home when pick up is made.
