1951 Dodge Custom Panel Van. Very rare with only 760 built between 1950 and 1952. The best of old and new, all-in-one package with the vintage look and a modern dependable drive train. Equipped with a MOPAR performance 360 V8 with custom cast ribbed valve covers, paired with a MOPAR 727 automatic trans with custom shifter, both running strong. Comes equipped with modern radial tires and steel wheels covered with a full set of period custom Olds Starfire style tri-bar spinner hubcaps. This truck has been cosmetically completed with a great two tone paint scheme in Beige with a root beer metallic trim panel, possibly ready for your company name, or business logo. Body is super straight and California corrosion free. Clam shell hood opens on both sides giving great access to the Hi-Po engine. The interior is completely upholstered in matching beige, and dark brown cloth with comfortable twin bucket seats up front. Rear compartment is especially nice and completely upholstered top to bottom in the same colors creating a cozy retreat for car shows and other outings. The carpeted rear floor retains its original oak plank construction still in fine shape. Dashboard is equipped with two instrument binnacles which contain a complete set of modern custom gauges. This truck retains its original suspension and brakes, goes down the road nice and rides great in the bargain. You’re not likely to see another of these at the same show or even on the street for that matter. What a great old ride, reasonably priced and practical too.
