This is a "PROJECT CAR", that is very near completion. The car was parked and preserved for nearly 15 years until we bought her 8 months ago. We do reserve the right to end this auction early, as in at any given time. The car is posted here locally as well. We have an extensive photo collection of the car. Please feel free to ask for other pictures. There has been a lot of time and $$$ spent on the car so far. Here is a rundown with what's going on. INSTALLED ON THE CAR*Edelbrock 1407 Carburetor (750 cfm) *Edelbrock Elite Series Short Valve Covers *Edelbrock Elite Series 14'' Air Cleaner with a 3'' Element *Holley Performance Series Electric Fuel Pump *New Ever Start Max Series Battery *350 V-8 Small Block from 79' Oldsmobile Cutlass. Had 7,000 miles on it when it was parked 15 years ago. Freshly went through. *Mild Cam *TH-350 Auto Tranny with Shift Kit *B & M Floor Mounted Shifter *10 Bolt Posi Rear End *Sunroof *235/60/R14 Grand AM GT Radials *14'' Aluminum Wheels *Rubberized Coated Trunk Area *Performance Series Hedder Plugs *Cherry Bomb Mufflers *CB Radio (Uninstalled) *Aftermarket TACH Gauges (Uninstalled) We also have a lot of parts for the car still new in the box, to include a complete interior. We could have spent the day snapping everything in for a great photo, but figured it would be more appealing to any potential serious buyers NIB given that the car still needs paint. Here is a list of those items: NEW IN THE BOX PARTS *Rear Driver's Side Patch Panel *Exterior "Bullet" Style Chrome Mirrors *Interior Day & Night Rear View Mirror *Black Headliner *Matching Material Black Sun visors *New Rear Sail Panels *Black Front Pre-Assembled SS Door Panels *Black Front SS Arm Rest Sets with Screw Kits *Black Rear SS Pre-Assembled Door Panels *Body By Fisher Chrome Door Sill Plates w/ Screw Kits *Black Faux Leather Memory Foam Seat Covers Front & Back *Kenwood PKG-MP18 In-Dash Stereo Receiver w/ a pair of 6 ½'' 2 way speakers *3 Section "RAPTOR" Exterior Chrome Antenna *Floor Mat Sets Front & Back (Black) *Chevy Steering Wheel Cover *Ignition Bezel Nut *Glove Box Insert. . . I'm sure that there is more. Like I said in the beginning of this Ad, this is still a project car, but very close to completion. It still needs the master cylinder bench bled, and other misc. things done to get it on the road. Approx. 90% of the paint has been removed from the body and it's nearly ready for your custom paint. ,All of the glass, chrome, light bezels, floor boards, and trunk are in good shape. The car was undercoated years ago. This thing is really ready for someone to put their personal touches on it, and have a part of American Muscle Car History in their collection. We have watched hundreds of the third generation Nova's (68'-72') sell over the past 8 months, and am thrilled about bringing this car to auction. I could continue to go on and on about the car, but if you have read this far into my posting I'll assume that you are already knowledgeable about the 68' version of the Nova SS. These are highly desireable cars, that sell for big $$$. Even a straight rust bucket goes for $5,000 these days. Here is a link to a walk around video of the car. It will give you a general idea of what's really going on with this beast. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XSTgw6wsrU&feature=em-upload_owner Auction winner is responsible for all shipping arraingements and costs associated with the shipping of the vehicle. The vehicle is being sold as is. There is no warranty on the vehicle either written or implied. $1,000 down payment due via Paypal within 24 hours of auction close. The remaining balance is to be in cash within 7 days of auction close. The Nova has been posted for sale or barter here locally in Washington as well. We reserve the right to end the auction early pending a local sale. If you happen to have another cool project sitting around, we might be interested in a partial trade on the Nova. DO NOT BID ON THE AUCTION UNLESS YOU HAVE FULL CASH PAYMENT THOUGH. Feel free to make contact with me via message with any proposed trades. We will end the auction early for a "BEST OFFER" that is Fair as well. Please be aware that we have local interest in this car from multiple buyers that are prepared to offer from $5,000-$10,000 in cash trade equity. Thanks for taking a look, and HAPPY BIDDING! On Jul-09-13 at 17:41:43 PDT, seller added the following information:UPDATE..... WE JUST GOT FULL BRAKE PRESSURE ON THE NOVA'S BRAKING SYSTEM. GIVEN THE TIME THIS EVENING, WE HAVE NOT YET TRIED TO TEST DRIVE THE CAR... STAY POSTED THOUGH.On Jul-10-13 at 21:08:24 PDT, seller added the following information:I want to thank all of you for your compliments on the car. I am trying my hardest to answer all of your questions as they come in, so please bear with me. I want to stress that this is a time sensitive auction, as local interest has really began to heat up. Today there has been several offers made that are almost too good to be true. If you have an interest in this Nova, do not wait until the last moment to make a move on it. I want to stress the fact that this is a no reserve auction, but I am not liable to sit around and watch the car go for next to nothing. If the numbers are not considerably higher in the next 48 hours, I will just go for the local deal. The 68's do not come around all that often..... Just saying. On Jul-15-13 at 07:49:16 PDT, seller added the following information:I just got back into town last night from a camping trip and noticed 2 things. A, my nova is going for peanuts on Ebay, and B the local interest on the car is extremely overwhelming. I have decided to firm up my decision to continue with the auction or do a local deal no later than this 8 pm my time. If you have a true interest in the Nova, do not wait to hit me with either a bid, or a proposed trade/barter/cash + barter deal. Very flexiable on this end. I have over $5,000 invested into the car... I've never lost money on a car before, and don't plan on doing so now. Christina
