Vehicle Detail

1979 Fiat X1/9. Third owner. I've owned this car for the past 16 months. It runs and drives great. Does not burn or leak oil or any fluids for that matter. I had big plans for this little car and have gotten off to a great start with it, the engine and transmission are stock with the exception of a new weber carbuator, I replaced the stock springs and struts with aftermarket ( KSPORT ) adjustable coilovers, Thus allowing me to drop the ride height about 2", for a nice aggressive stance. The breaks calpipers were rebuilt, new stainless steel braided break lines, new crossdrilled and slotted rotors, New wheel spacers and studs to allow for new Voxx 15" x 7" rims , New Toyo 195/45/15 Tires ( 150 miles). New clutch and break resavoirs, New weber carburator, Stainless Steel overflow tank (Very Rare not installed but comes with the car.) New front chin spoiler, Used '75-78 grill, Euro front turn indicators, New custom made fiberglass '74 euro bumper blades (primed ready for paint). All front , side, and rear lenes have been replaced. '86 passenger side window and mirror were added. '86 rear spoiler, new battery, new battery cover( very rare , no cracks,). new cowl grills, Seats and door panels out of an '86 ( in perfect condition, I have not installed the seats yet because I wanted to paint the car first and not chance any damage to the seats. )New custom made stering wheel from Itaily.New floor mats from Itaily still in the plastic. New dash and console. Gauges redone with white faceplates and l.e.d. lights. Short shifter added for smother shifting, new door handles and window cranks. All electrical works as it should. Does not run hot , temperature gets to 190 and dual fans come on as they should. I have spent a great deal of time sorting out this car and setting it up just how I wanted it. However some would still consider it a project car. My plans were to add a performance head, performance exhaust, body work ,and paint. Then drive the hell out of it !! It runs like a champ right now, I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere right now. I have invested $ 10,274.00 in this car, I only hope someone can see its potential and take it to the finish line. My daughter is starting college in the fall so Just trying to get prepared for that. I dont want to sell at all. But... I must do what I have to do. I have tried to describe this as good as possible, if you have any questions please ask. Oh yeah it is an AC car it does work ,but needs to be recharged.just never got around to it. I have a spread sheet of all new parts that I can send to anyone also. The only rust is on the outter door skins, the paint has begun to blister smaller than a dime, not rusted thru. SOLD AS -IS.
