1977 AMC Jeep CJ7 4X4 with freshly painted fiberglass body, Big Ford V8 Engine. B=VIN: J7A93EA087756 This is my Dads project Jeep; it is a work in progress. He is selling because he has to move into a small trailer with no garage and must sell it. This is a 1977 AMC Jeep CJ7 4WD with freshly painted fiberglass body, Big 351W Ford V8 Engine, with manual transmission. Also included it the original fiberglass hard top. Currently has installed a E3TA-7A195-SA Ford transfer case. Manual transmission, and transfer case are said to be out of a 80's vintage Ford Bronco. AMC Jeep CJ5 rear end, believed to be original. Has 2 very nice leather front bucket seats. Has 3" body lift. Engine has 4-Barrel Holley carburetor, and doesn't smoke, starts quick, runs strong. Has new aluminum radiator. Has new in box fuel tank and sending unit. This Jeep currently starts and drives; the rear driveshaft is connected, but the front shaft is not there; the case drop is on the other side and will need to be changed over. It is a great project vehicle, that we believe is a great solid specimen. Not many underside shots as we don't have a lift, but the frame and linkages underneath are solid, with good integrity. Engagement of 4WD from drivers seat; there's no stick yet, but linkage is there. It too is a work in progress. Appears to need dash work, and under dash also. Original tach/speedometer with miles showing 38108 (assume 138,108). Clear title in hand, and in current owner/sellers name. See last picture for CJ VIN decoder, to answer your questions about the VIN origin and meaning.
