this is a 1988 mustang convertible 5.0 gt. I swapped the 302 5.0 with a brand new 351c (cleveland). 2v motor and heads. The AED carb is brand new from summit racing reno with receipt. The AED carb is on the car now and comes with it. NO RESERVE (Plesase read entire listing) This is a complete balanced and blue printed motor from douglas machine. there is only a few miles on it from test drives. Motor has a baja beast cam, keath black pistons, stock 2v heads, 10:1 compression. Almost everything on this car is new from summit racing in reno nv. I spent over a year and too much money on this car so my loss can be your gain. I have almost every receipt worth thousands. ( i have over $3000 in the motor and transmission alone) Transmission is a c4, can handle up to 700 horse, tiji boy torque converter with a 3500 stall. Has a B&M shifter with a trans-brake and a toggle switch you can turn it on and off. There is a cluster gauge with water and oil temp gauges. Only the oil is hooked up. A couple of the plastics are removed under the steering colum but i have them for you. The interior is good shape for a 88 seats and carpet and pannels. Has a cd player in it that works and an alarm as well just needs hooked back up. The car is turn key right now. It will start and run but it needs timed. has new B&M shift cable but needs adjusted to go in to gear right. This car will have to be trailered home it is still a project. It has a brand new power steering pump but it is bipassed right now. The convertible top frame is all there but has no cloth on it. I have extra cylinders and motors to operate the top but they are not hooked up. The really good news is everything that is on the car already for you.....Here is the list........... The car has just been sitting in the garage so it is dirty. This is a no reserve auction so my loss is truly someones gain. The money i spent in parts for the car is tripple what my starting price is and that doesnt count the car or rims tires etc. I have the title in hand car is not registered for 2 years. Again you cant really test drive but can start the engine it is brand new just built and is flawless. The car needs to be hauled home.
