This is a really cool restored 1970 Chevy El Camino SS (tribute?) Big Block... 454 V8 with cold A/C. Original Rust Free Black Plate California Car in Awesome Condition. Older frame up restoration including Body, Interior, Motor, Trans, and Suspension. I got this in a trade and I do not know the full history. I'm a serious car collector... this is a really nice Elco. I'm not a Chevy expert but I will tell you what I was told and what I see.The car has been restored and lovingly maintained by adult enthusiast owners. Vin tells me it is an original V8 car and I was told its an original big block. It has a stock 454 with Turbo 400 3 speed auto trans and 12 bolt Posi Rear. Motor appears to have been rebuilt but I cannot document it. Looks to have been built as a show ready daily driver... Classic El Camino Looks, Runs and Drives fantastic. Cool vintage hot rod would be awesome weekend cruiser, daily driver, show car, or addition to any collection... The body is extremely straight with no signs of collision damage or rust that I can see... Underside is ultra clean and straight. Older Excellent quality paint presents beautifully with only the most minor niks and blemishes. Chrome and bright work are in excellent shape. Rubbers and felts are beautiful. Rally rims with nice tires give it a cool stance and period correct muscle car look. Rear air shocks... trailer hitch which does not appear to have been used... would be cool to tow your other cars or bikes to shows... :) Get's alot of looks and compliments compliments everywhere we roll... The interior is excellent. Seats, Carpet, Panels, and headliner look awesome. Dash and gauges are beautiful and work properly. Tach, temp, and oil pressure gauges added. Nice modern sound system. Electronics, heat, and lights all work properly. Cold A/C... :)... Insulated, Firm tight cabin. 454 V8 motor appears rebuilt and all stock... starts idles and runs fantastic... BIG power and sounds really cool with nice custom dual exhaust. Legendary Turbo 400 3 speed auto shifts smooth and strong through the gears... Chevy factory floor shifter and console. Heavy Duty 12 bolt Posi rear end. Gear ratios are great around town and cruises nice on the freeway as well. Suspension and brakes feel great... Rides beautifully and stops straight and sure. Goes down the road straight with no wiggles, shimmies, or shakes. Can easily be a daily driver and it drives extremely well... strong and reliable... I just had it serviced and tuned. Really Nice, FAST, Fun driver.... ready to roll. Overall this is a really cool American Classic Muscle Car in excellent condition all around. Awesome weekend cruiser, daily driver, or show car. I am a collector with alot of cars and I REALLY like this one.... Great for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool Vintage Classic Muscle Car at a great price.
