This is our great running, great looking 1999 Cross Country. We are moving and downsizing so a few of our cars must go. We have owned the car for about 6 years and it has served us extremely well. It is in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically . It is excellent in the snow and never left us stranded in any weather or climbing our sometimes snow covered , extremely steep 235 foot driveway , the purpose for which we purchased this Volvo . All systems function as they should with no known problems. The car also has xenon lights, as I am used to that lighting from my other cars and so I had them installed when I purchased this one. The only small thing that this car does , which is common to all these 850/S70/V70 Volvos, is that the door check on the drivers door clicks when opening and closing the door. The car was always serviced at the Volvo dealer and recent work include new drivers side lower control arm and passenger side tie rod ends and new spark plugs, ignition coils and all engine mounts were replaced. The timing belt and water pump were replaced at 210K. It will need tires soon. The rear damage that will more than likely show up on the history report was not body damage, the rear hatch glass was shattered and it was replaced . The other damage was the little dent I took a pic of on lip of rear wheel well. Whether it shows up or not, now you know. The car has no rust and the paint is all original.
