1998 Infiniti Q45 - 101,147 One Owner Miles Purchased by the Original Owner in 1998 NY State residents please understand your restrictions when bidding on this vehicle. This garaged car (except for the past 6 months - the new car has the garage) is running and driving as you would expect a Q45 with only 100,000 miles on it. Tires and brakes are excellent. Super strong motor and tranny. AC is ice cold. I see no evidence of body or paint work on the car. The only body flaw is a small dent on the passenger side rear quarter panel (as pictured). The car could look like new with a good detailing. Interior has minor wear and needs a good cleaning. The owner made the mistake of letting his dog in the back seat just once! Unfortunately you can see the result! On a positive note, the back seat easily pops out and can be replaced by one from the junkyard at a minimal cost. These seats are available in this color and are rarely worn. You just have to keep your local junkyard guy on alert, since they do not keep these seats in stock and usually crush them with the rest of a junk car. Easily passes safety inspection and the computer monitors are set. It does not, however, pass NY State inspection because of a very slight power steering rack leak. When you park it, it leaves 1 - 2 drops of steering oil on the ground. I have not yet added fluid or any stop leak additive to it. Bid with confidence and drive it home! Hood pistons do not hold up the hood and there is a very slight rattle when going over bumps. This car is going to the highest bidder. No Reserve! No Buy It Now! Please Don't Ask! Because this car won't pass NY State inspection ... New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will easily pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
