2005 VW Passat Diesel GLS 2.0 inline 4 cylinder engine, 5 speed auto tiptronic transmission Located near Atlanta. The car has recently been totaled due to front end impact, with only 12,000 miles on new engine, 17,000 miles on new torque convertor and refurbished transmission. Both engine and torque convertor were new from VW and supplied to the latest spec. The engine has the latest gear driven oil pump and NOT the dreaded chain driven original version. I bought the car in November 2011 I installed a new torque convertor and new complete engine (Block & head), a few weeks ago the car was damaged and totaled due to bent engine mount/frame. Before I purchased the car the VW dealership changed all brake calipers / pad & rotors. In November last year I installed a new RHS drive shaft and 2 weeks prior to the accident I installed a new alternator. Receipts for all work completed are available. The car is the GLS model, black with grey leather and wood trim interior, 5 speed tiptronic auto transmission. Power windows, power heated mirrors, heated front seats, central locking, rear sun shade, sliding / tilt glass sun roof, Fog lights, alloy wheels with 3 good tires and one new tire, Premium Monsoon sound system with CD / Cassette and cruise control. The only item I did not yet fix is the one rear electric window, the motor runs but the plastic pin is broken preventing the window from going up & down, it was last on my list of jobs to do.
