Vehicle Detail
1992 Camaro Z28 350 (5.7 V8) Heritage Edition. 97000 miles. This is a rebuilt/salvage title car. Relisted due to non-paying bidder. Professionally rebuilt engine with approximately 4000 miles. I think it is the original engine. If anyone knows how to confirm, let me know and I will be happy to check. Edelbrock headers. B&M Shift Kit. Performance chip in the ECM, i do not know what brand chip. Car had a 3.73 rear gear when I got it, and has been replaced with a Richmond Gear 3.23, same ratio as original. Car still has plenty of punch, and you can have the 3.73 if you wish. The rear hatch electric pulldown is stuck ‘down’, which simply means you use the key to open the hatch. It has worked intermittently in the past, but the last time it stopped ‘down’, I disconnected the wire to keep it there. Rear privacy shade intact. Original interior with the exception of a new headliner, replaced dash pad, and added floor mats, B&M ratchet shifter. New front calipers and flex lines, but the brakes are still a tad soft, and could use a re-bleed. New alternator (bearings went out on the old one). A/C needs recharging. Car has a very slight surge under light throttle until she warms up a bit. New MAP sensor installed. New Flowmaster muffler last year (1700 miles). The car is from Texas, and had been sitting several years, and appears to be fairly rust-free, other than some surface rust on parts of the undercarriage, from what i can see. Hood stripes are now paint instead of decals, and look great. Rear stripes appear to be the originals. Someone clear-coated the rear deck and some of the clear coat is coming loose, but doesn't look too bad. I have tried to capture that in the pics. There are also two small dents above the driver window, and a small piece missing from the window gasket near there. I'm guessing someone locked the keys in at some point, and this is evidence of them trying to gain access to the car. Window gasket so far has never leaked from rain, etc. This car gets compliments wherever she goes, and is one that you can drive and enjoy. This is a rebuilt/salvage title car. Sold as-is. $500.00 deposit required within 48 hours of auction close. Remaining payment to be cash or certified check. Thanks for looking, and good luck bidding. On Jun-28-13 at 05:28:51 PDT, seller added the following information: Regarding the rebuilt title, the car had been wrecked and repaired, so the title reflects this. I do not have any details about the damage. Thanks for your questions.
