Up for auction is a 1964 Plymouth Belvedere 2 door hardtop. This car DOES NOT have power steering or power brakes and NO air conditioning. The previous owner claimed the engine, transmission and all the brakes had been rebuilt there is no paperwork to prove this. This is a numbers matching car. He also had the car repainted to red from the original color blue. The inside of the engine compartment, trunk and interior have been painted. This had all been done 7 years ago. There are a couple of bubbles on the rear fender lip. There is a spot on the hood that looks like they messed up sanding it and went ahead and painted it. There is no rust that I have found on the car or on the under side frame etc.. With that being said the paint shines well and looks good. I put a rechromed rear bumper on it last year. The interior has black diamond tuck inserts and shows well with no tears or holes. The trunk has black carpet glued to the floor and sides and looks good. The dash shines and the dash pad is not cracked. All the controls for the heater are in good working order. This has a push button shifter in the dash that works perfectly. This car runs and drives great it goes straight down the road without pulling to either side. The brakes work great they do not pull to the left or right and stops good. The wheels do not have any scratches and clean up nice and the tires are not worn and have lots of tread. This is not a show car but it shows well and has won a couple of trophies at local car shows. I have taken this car on several trips of 500 to 800 miles and did not have any issues of any kind. I have taken several pictures for you to look at. I have only seen one or two 64 Belvederes at shows there are a lot of sport furys but not Belvederes. This car is being sold AS IS WITH NO WARRENTY. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. A $1000.00 deposit within 48 hours of auction end and remainder when car is picked up. Car needs to be paid in full before transfer of title. Car needs picked up within 10 days of auction end unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
