Vehicle Detail

You are viewing a beautiful 1975 Buick LeSabre convertible that I have owned for nearly two years but would now like to sell on to someone who will enjoy it as much as I have. This car is in extremely nice condition as I have tried to capture in the photos in this listing and also the nearly 100 additional photos that you can find at the flickr link at the end of my description. From day one of my ownership of this big, beautiful Buick it has been truly a joy to own. It performs just as it should and all the power options work flawlessly. The power windows, power seats, power top and radio all work wonderfully and even the speed sentinel that you can see pictured in the close-up of the speedometer still buzzes as GM intended it to. The big 350 V8 provides nice smooth power that seems perfect for this long and sleek top-down cruiser. What I've always loved about this generation of LeSabres is the fabulous grillwork that tapers so gracefully along just some of the most incredible body lines I've ever seen. I wasn't shopping at all for a convertible when I found this one, but those body lines caught my eye and captured my imagination, especially being fitted with the stunning Buick factory wheels. And the condition made it a must-have car. There are no blemishes or dents or dings and certainly no rust. Even the undercarriage is extremely nice, as you can see. It was and is a turn-key classic that I would readily drive anywhere without a worry. Here is the link to more photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/97286492@N06/sets/72157634201536711/ During my ownership I did have a new top motor installed, not because the original wasn't working, but because I had to borrow the original to replace the top motor in my 1974 LeSabre convertible that this 1975 bumped out of my garage. As I said, when I purchased this car I wasn't at all in the market for another classic, but it just blew my away and required a little creative reorganizing of my small car collection. Cars are like women, the best ones never show up when you're ready for them. And on the morning my '74 was to go to its new home the top motor decided to fail -- you guys know how that goes! -- so pulling the top motor out of this car seemed the best way to fix things and make everybody happy. I couldn't send away my convertible to a new owner with a top that didn't go down! During the time I've owned this beautiful car I also had a new top professionally installed. The one that was on it when I purchased it wasn't too bad, but I'm pretty picky about these things and wanted it just right. You can see from the photos how great it turned out. Now it is in the same great condition as the rest of the interior. The one item I didn't bother to mess with was the A/C. It is all there and ready to go, but it doesn't blow cold. Being that this is a convertible and I only drove it with the top down on perfect days, A/C wasn't something I missed. But I've included a "Buy It Now" price in this auction with the understanding that if someone makes me an offer that I accept before the end of the auction and would like the A/C working, I'll get it taken care of, no problem. For such a nice Buick convertible with all these power options I believe I've set my reserve very fairly, because I'd really like to see someone be able to enjoy cruising in it this summer. But I do reserve the right to end the auction early if someone uses the "Buy It Now" option or I sell the car locally beforehand. Good luck! On Jun-25-13 at 12:23:46 PDT, seller added the following information: I want to thank everybody for your interest in my car, and thanks to everyone that has placed a bid so far. I tried to set a reserve price to show I'm serious about selling the car and I'm glad to see someone will be able to win the auction and own this great convertible on Saturday. Good luck to everybody!! It will be a lot of fun to watch this auction end.
