Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Up for auction, with NO RESERVE, is a tastefully modified and upgraded 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This has been my daily driver and toy, but was recently totaled by insurance after an accident, so it is time to pass it on to someone that can rebuild it to its former glory. The Jeep has had a ton of work done, both by me and the former owner, all within the past 30k miles. It now has 69,867 miles on it. Before getting to the upgrades and what comes with the Jeep, I’ll detail the factory vehicle specs and options. 2007 Wrangler Unlimited X 4x4VIN: 1J4GA39127L122001 Steel Blue Metallic Paint Manual Transmission Power Convenience Package (+$800) Power windows and doorsRemote keyless entrySecurity system Customer Preferred Package (+$1,449) Tinted windowsCruise ControlLeather wrapped steering wheelTemperature and Compass gaugeFog lamps and tow hooks on front bumper The Jeep was tastefully upgraded with the following parts: Zone 3” LiftStabilizer, trackbar and other assorted lift and drivetrain add ons35” Wrangler Goodyear Duratrac tires17” Rubicon wheelsRegeared to 4.56Rubicon Rock RailsRear bumper and tire carrier (fits up to 37” tire)Spacers for each wheelFront Grab handlesFull set of Quadratec floor liners (front seats, back seats and trunk)Daystar dash organizerHard top interior painted from white to blackUpper and lower Synergy Suspension Ball JointsAxle Gussets Obviously there are thousands of dollars of upgrades here, and the vehicle was always taken care of with required and preventative maintenance. The vehicle was never abused offroad, it was used as an expedition, hunting and camping vehicle, and as such only saw light off-road use. I took it on a 3 month, 11,500 mile roadtrip around the country- it idn’t have a single issue- which is a testament to how well cared for this vehicle is. The vehicle comes with receipts for the upgrades as well as for any work done by me or the previous owner. There are a few small dings and scratches in the paint, but the vehicle is in remarkable condition for its age. The vehicle is a bit dirty in the pictures, obviously it isn’t drivable in its current condition, and there was no way to wash where it sits now. The interior is very nice, the Quadratec floor liners have protected the carpets, and the seats are in great condition as well, no rips, tears or stains. The towing company put some of the accident parts in the vehicle, which were dirty, so any dirt in the pictures is from that and should vacuum out. I have included some other older pictures to give you an idea of the body condition. The insurance gave me a high value for this vehicle due in part to its excellent condition. The vehicle was totaled by insurance due to a bent frame. In the accident the driver’s side front wheel and tire were ripped off the vehicle. This obviously ruined the axle, and bent the frame. I believe the drive shaft is bent as well, but it is hard to crawl under and confirm. The front windshield also broke in the accident. The good thing is that NO airbags went off due to the force of the accident pulling away from the vehicle, not crashing in. The interior of the vehicle is undamaged. There is only one damaged body panel- the front drivers side quarter panel, the associated wheel flare will need to be replaced as well. The grill, hood, roof, and all the doors were undamaged. The front bumper has scuffs on the left, and a dent on the right, but if you did a cut down on it, it would still be perfectly usable. The Jeep will need a new front axle as well as front suspension and other related parts. The Jeep starts right up and the engine still runs like a top. At a standstill you can shift through all the gears without any clunks or grating, but I am not positive on the overall health of the transmission. One tire was destroyed, and the other front tire will need to be closely inspected before being used, but the other 3 tires are still in great condition with plenty of tread, and 4 of the Rubicon 17” wheels are in still present, and in great condition. You can pull the 4.56s and the aftermarket ball joints (only about 12k on the BJs) from the broken front axle and put them in your new front axle as well. Lastly, the powder coating on the handle of the tire carrier is peeling and will need to be redone (not due to the accident, just normal wear) Of course, there may be more damage, but this is what I know from both my own, as well as the insurance assessment. The major damage is the bent frame (see pictures) once this is replaced (new frames are $2000 to $3000), the rest of the damage should be parts that can be easily sourced and are commonly upgraded (axle, lift, tire/wheel, driveshaft). I think this is the perfect candidate for a dedicated trail rig. Even if this vehicle never sees the road again, there is quite a bit of money in the stock and aftermarket parts. The winning bidder will also have the right of first refusal (prices to be negotiated late, but they will be very reasonable) on additional parts including: Bestop Trektop NX Mirror Brackets for doorless driving, AND the detachable mirrors Windshield light brackets Tuffy underseat safe All in all this was a very well cared for and nicely upgraded Jeep. I have done my best to accurately access the vehicles condition and the damage done, but given the nature of a totaled vehicle, there could also be unknown other damage. Winning bidder buys the vehicle as is, where is. Winning bidder must send a non refundable deposit of $500 within 48 hours of the auction ending; paid in cash, through Paypal or electronic bank transfer. Winning bidder is also responsible for moving the vehicle after the sale- although I am more than happy to help set up shipping if need be. Ideally I would like those seriously interested in the vehicle to take a look at it before bidding (it is in Dudley, MA) and/or give me a ring to discuss. My name is Alex, and I can be reached at 508 333 1119. Thanks for your interest and don’t hesitate to call or message me with additional questions or to request more pictures or information. I reserve the right to end the auction early. On Jun-22-13 at 06:39:51 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE JUNE 21st I want to clarify a few things based on recent questions:- The car DOES have a Salvage title!- The hard top comes with the car, the soft top does NOT come with the car. Whoever wins the auction will have first opportunity to buy the soft top for $500. The top itself is new, in the box, as it is a replacement for my older top that had the retention spring break.
