Up for auction is this nice 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4. I am listing this for my dad whom at 80 has decided that he should probably stick to cars driven by others now. He has not driven much for at least the last 6 months that I am aware of. The truck is currently not being driven. It has been mechanically very well kept and to the best of my knowledge,well cared for since he got it. This Dakota shows a little normal wear, and has about average mileage for her age. This truck starts easily, handle, and stop as it should according to my dad . It has a ARE Custom cap, and plastic bed liner. The outside has some blemishes and stuff from it previous owners which would be normal given the age. The plastic parts are not faded very much. The truck passed Maryland saftey inspection last fall and is very dependable. Tires are in reasonably good shape and all the lights and signals work well. There are no tears on the seats. The carpet is in great condition, and the heat and ac work extremely well. I have the Dodge owners manual and it's included. Additionally, the windshield ,glass as well as air deflectors are all in good condition. . I had the plugs and the fuel filter replaced and carb was cleaned, and it is running very well...... consistently the way it should. It is a good dependable means of transportation and is good in snow with the 4 wheel drive. All it needs is someone who can give it TLC and maintain it and it will probably run a good long time. I’m not sure what all it needs if anything, but with a no reserve, this truck, with all the accessories will be great for someone who needs a solid truck. As with anything, this truck is sold as is.
