ITEM DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on a 1979 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z-28, 350/V-8, 4 barrel carburetor engine with running engine and original transmission. I purchased the car from my mechanic who gave it a good tune up (including oil change and new battery). The engine turns on fine and appears to be running good and no problems with transmission. The vehicle was sitting for 3 years and needs to be driven to work out any kinks. Car will need interior completely redone and new paint job as well and probably new tires (a local upholstery expert gave me a quote of $2,500 to completely redo the interior). This is a great restoration project. Windshield is cracked and will need to be replaced. Left door will need new hinges and passenger door does not open from outside and drivers door does not open from inside. No a/c but speakers and stereo are working on car. Recent hail storm broke out parts of the tail lights (see pictures below). Last picture below is what the car looked like when my mechanic initially bought it for his son. Clear title in hand and state registration was just purchased but will need inspection sticker to be legally operable (recently uploaded pictures of the new license plates and registration sticker for the windshield which were issued for the car). Car is sold as is with no warranty. ENGINE: PLEASE NOTE: My mechanic was hospitalized when I started running this sale but he confirmed today that THE ENGINE WAS REPLACED WITH A 350/V-8, 4 BARREL CARBEURETOR ENGINE. TIRES: Front Tires: P23560R14, Rear Tires: 24560R14. Also included with the sale are 2 additional rims and tires (tires will need to be replaced) which measure GR-60-14. These were the original rear tires which are the same size tires as the front tires but were replaced with the current rear tires which measure 24560R14. They're currently a little wider in the back (see last picture below) than in the front. So if you want the original tires, they are included with the car.
