Excellent example of a genuine all-time classic. Lots of new parts. Split the cases and replaced any items that were not within tolerance. Any gear that had any wear was replaced. All dogs, cogs and teeth are full and solid. No undercuts done or needed. Replaced gaskets, cleaned and painted all components. Cylinder, piston, rod, wrist pin, crank bearing, seals, chrome sleeve, rings were all excellent with no slop or noticeable wear. Bead blasted exterior (only) of cylinder, head was pristine, (bead blasted and ceramic enamel painted). Runs strong and crisp with excellent throttle reponse. Wicked fast. Renthals with all new handles/perches, grips (original throttle). Examining the life of the bike all parts visible have the correct 467 (1980) or 430 (1978-79) Honda coding in place. Matching numbers bike. At the bottom long through-bolt mount there is a small section that is split (NOT into the case !) My opinion only is that this could be repaired in place. If you need to yank the motor it is a 10 min job tops. Recent brake shoes and front hub is good, there is a rim heli-arc visible and ground flat (hard to see but it exists) rim appears solid and true. Rear hub has grooves from earlier life, shoes are good, all spokes are tight and rim runs true. Stops well and this is simply a disclosure statement, not intended to be an apology or bartering point . I have on order a new seat cover coming from 1/2 way around the world. Ignore the cover in place. Please examine photos closely. This is a Track King, not a Garage Queen. Your friends will envy, competitors will fear. Sold As-Is/Where-Is.
