Vehicle Detail
This '63 Dodge 440 is completely stock with a 318 and push button automatic. Body is very solid including the lower areas under the fenders, doors and quarter panels. All the trim including bumpers and grill, is in excellent shape give a couple of small dents on the headlight trim rings. Engine and transmission run well. It could use a tune up from sitting in storage for the last couple of years. The brake system has been redone including new cylinders and shoes. The glass is in good shape all around with no rust around the windows, under the dash or in the trunk. Passenger side floor pan has been patched. The only rust through areas on the entire car are on the drivers side floor pan where there are a couple of small rust through areas not bigger than a business card. The front seat is solid but the cover and foam have deteriorated, the door panels are fraying some at the bottom and the dash pad has some cracks in it. The back seat has some spot stains. As seen in the pictures all the interior is intact. All gauges, lights and instruments work except for the heater blower. Stock 14" wheels with all four hubcaps, a couple of the tires are new. This car drives and goes down the road well. The body is in good shape. The paint has typical scratches and ticks in the paint for a vehicle of this age and there are a couple of spots that were touched up with a spray can in order to slow some surface rust on the hood and deck lid and one area on the drivers side door where a small dent was taken out. Great car for restoration since all original equipment is there and functioning, or to drop a big block in and make a Mopar muscle car since the body is in such good shape. The car is believed to have spent the majority of its life in the California central valley region. Still has original plates and Stockton Dodge license plate frame.
