Vehicle Detail
We understand that buying a vehicle online can sometimes leave you un-easy. We are aware that there are other dealers online that do not fully describe the vehicles listed. They might leave important information out, or not have a thorough description of that item. Our goal is simple. We aim to be honest and fair with all of our deals. Word of mouth and return business has gotten us this far. We achieve this by providing you with all of the information YOU need to make a comfortable decision, and hopefully proceeding to your investment, a vehicle! We strive for A+ satisfaction. We do not want to waste anyone’s time, and definitely don’t want to mislead you. This is why we inform you of EVERYTHING we know, and provide you with detailed descriptions and conditions of the item for sale. Business is expanding, explaining the new eBay account. Up for sale with NO RESERVE is a 1991 FORD MUSTANG GT 5.0 hatchback. There is nothing more American than the 5.0 mustang. These cars were built to last and satisfy. Throughout the years these cars are still very popular and you still see them on the road today. The majority of people that own these customize and modify to make their very own unique car. The parts are very easy to find and they won’t break the bank buying them. On top of all, they are also very easy to work on, making the mustang very desirable for projects and restoration. The 91 is very simple, they aren’t complex like the cars produced these days. This particular vehicle is a mechanic special. Personally I think this would be a great father son project. You have a good strong base. The frame feels solid, and there is not a lot of rust. It seems to me that who had the car last did not know what they were doing, or just didn’t know enough. This car can easily be in its prime once again. If you have a little bit of time and patience this car will be anything you want it to be. Also, this vehicle passed New York safety inspection in APRIL 2013. INTERIOR: For the age of the car, the interior is not all too bad. Don’t get me wrong, this car does need work and is not perfect. You have a strong foundation to make this car anything. There are a few things broken, missing and not functioning properly. The climate control does work, with no a/c though. This car was originally a 5 speed manual. It was converted to an automatic. The original pedals are still in it, so to start the vehicle you need to push the clutch in to start. There is no other use for the clutch. The speedometer twitches sometime but can still give you an accurate reading of your current speed. The rear hatch does not latch but it does not fly up at all. The passenger side door does not open. EXTERIOR: The body does not need much work. The car does need a paint job, the vinyl racing stripes need to be touched up. The clear coat is coming off in some places. This does appear to be original paint. There is some minor rust on the rear wheel well. It doesn’t feel weak and there are no holes that I have seen. There looks to be an aftermarket front bumper on it that needs to be painted as well. Like I mentioned before, this is a strong solid base for a project. MOTOR/HANDLING: The car gets up to speed like a dream. I do not know what has been done to it as far as performance but this car has a lot of torque. The car shifts alright and the brakes are great. The motor sounds in tune not missing a beat. I think the previous owner knew what they were doing with the motor and not anything else. The suspension handles well, no complaints. The steering is great also. The throttle is stiff. It will get up to speed just fine. I realized there is a exhaust leak, maybe after the catalytic converter. This vehicle all in all runs and drives pretty good. There is just a good bit of work that needs to be done as far as cosmetics in and out. I do not recommend driving this car for a long distance. I am not sure how it will handle. I do recommend towing or getting this vehicle shipped. This car right now is not a daily driver. This is a project or “fixer upper” and if done right, you will be highly satisfied with your one of a kind 5.0 Mustang. I see a major profit with a little time and money invested. These cars are still in high demand because they are so easy to work on. I personally do not have the time for it. I would love to see this car 100% again. I am considering all offers. Thank you for looking and happy bidding. IMPORTANT INFORMATION (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY): IF this is a NO RESERVE auction, the vehicle being sold will sell to the highest bidder. IF you are really interested in this vehicle, enter your max bid. This is so no one can outbid you at the last minute trying to take your deal.
