This 1968 BMW R60US is an unrestored original touring motorcycle with original black paint and white striping. It has matching chassis and engine numbers with 18,737 miles. There are no dents with some minor scratches showing in the paint. There are some stone chips and some stains on the frame from battery drips in the past as pictured. There are no scuffs on the roll bars, cylinder heads, handlebar turn signals or seat to indicate that the motorcycle has ever been laid on its side or fallen off its kick stand. I am the second owner of this classic survivor. The attached photos show its unmolested condition. It has always been kept in heated storage. It has a clear Michigan title. The engine starts easily and runs well. This being a US version of the R series of touring motocycles, it has the telescoping forks that contribute to its superior handling characteristics. It has a new battery and everything functions as it should. Original features included are: 1) Hella handlebar turn signals, 2) Scorsch-Meier dual seat with foot pegs plus luggage rack, 3) tire pump, 4) tool kit with BMW wiping rag, 5) tool kit key, 6) fork lock key, and 7) BMW repair manual.
