Vehicle Detail
1974 BMW 2002 tii Not Running Because Of Electrical Problems - Garage stored for past 15 years- Very minimal rust (see photos)- Original interior (including knobs, dials, and floormats) - Tight body/chassis- No major accidents- Mostly original paint- Mostly original parts - In pretty good shape- Perfect project car- Comes with the original alloy wheels (see one in picture)- Also comes with the wheels on the car. - Engine was replaced with a rebuilt 1972 tii engine by the experts over at 2002 A.D. garage in 1997 (google them).- Also includes Chiltons and Haynes guides for do it yourself work. Vin #2781220 What's Wrong With it - Not running since 1998 and has been in the garage since then.- Problem was with the starter/electrical system so engine should be fine.- Was stored without draining any fluids and with a small amount of gas. So lines will need to be purged/replaced. - Tires are inflated, but they are old, so those probably need replacing as well. - Was last registered in CA in 1998, but Non-operating vehicle status was never obtained, we just never renewed registration. - Buyer assumes all responsibility for registration/DMV fees- Still have pink slip, previously smogged successfully in the 90's (Should be exempt now)- Minor body damage to rear quarter panel. (See photos) Car is sold AS-IS My wife put this car in her mother's garage in 1998 and then went to college and forgot about it, it's been sitting there ever since. Feel free to come and take a look at it this weekend! We rolled it out of the garage for this photo shoot, so we know it moves and shifts. We didn't try to start the engine, 'cause we didn't want to risk damaging anything. Message me to set up a viewing time, we'll be in Thousand Oaks all weekend if you wanna take a look.About 10 minutes off the 101 at the Lynn Road exit.
