Vehicle Detail

I am selling a killer 1965 Triumph Bonneville TR6R 650cc bobber for $8700 or best offer. It was purchased out of state as a project bike about three years ago. It had a great base with a welded hardtail, original non dented tank, new tires, and La Rosa gator solo seat. Although it was "good enough" as is to ride and enjoy, I decided to have it painstakingly rebuilt by Sean at RTL Moto in Costa Mesa CA. (Well known Triumph and Motoguzzi mechanic) where it a long list of work was done to get it operational and reliable. This includes but not limited, to replacing all cables, new PWK carb and pancake filter, new rubber footcontrols, frame and wiring cleaned up, steering head rebuild, brakes cleaned up, new engine mounts, replace clutch Cush, springs adjusted, top head removed and completely rebuild with new pistons and barrels, gaskets replaced and sealed, a slew of new cosmetic works, ceramic coated pipes, brass tips, new bars etc. I have almost $12k into it with about $4k of work invested in the rebuild work by RTL. Good compression, ran fast, started within 3 kicks, and great overall bar hopper. I say in the past tense, because for personal reasons, it sat in indoor storage ever since completed in OCT 2011. It was never ridden on the streets since it came back from RTL nor registered. I talked to AAA and registering it is no issue since it is a 1965. I have a bill of sale and title in hand. I have not recently started it since deciding to sell it. It will need a very small amount of work to get it going again since it was tip top prior to storage. I assume a charging the battery, carb bowl cleaned, some gas, and starter primed and she'll be ready to roll! The only think I think it could use, is a better battery tray solution. I was going to use a custom leather buckle strap which would be sick. Sold as is and I'll provide all receipts for all the work completed. Thanks and feel free to contact me with questions. Please, no low ball offers or free rides.
