NO RESERVE! 1967 Porsche 911 Rally car. COA. Ready to go! NICE. NO RESERVE! HIGH BIDDER WINS IT. 1967 Porsche 911 Coupe. Considered by many to be the most historically significant of all Porsche models, the 911 was introduced in 1964 and was a mainstay of Porsche production, with modifications and upgrades, for more than 30 years. With a broadly similar layout to the 356, the 911 has a steel platform chassis with torsion bars, McPherson front struts and rear trailing arms, the flat-6 air cooled engine and 5-speed transmission first seen on the 904. By 1967, the 2 liter motor had Weber carburetors added. More than 40 years later, 911's continue to be competitive favorites in vintage racing events. This particular car, chassis number 306382 was produced on January 9, 1967 and after use by several owners was rally prepped with driving lights mounted on the hood, a 100 liter gas tank, steel wheels, vented front disc brakes and a roll bar. It has been driven in several events around the Pacific Northwest. According to the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, the original engine (number 909753) was replaced with engine 911365, which is now in the car. The engine was recently completely rebuilt and runs without fault. The color was changed from an ivory/black combination to blue with grey interior, making for a wonderful presentation. The paint is very good with bright color and a deep shine. The interior and leather are excellent. Note that the floor pan has several small areas of rust, which can be easily repaired. Not a big deal, but we want to point it out. Please see photos. This 911 runs and drives beautifully. It is tight and nimble with plenty of get-up and go. Enjoy it as it is, or take it to the next level. The choice is yours. Whatever you do, you'll be assured of a desirable 911 (just 3,421 were made in 1967) and an enjoyable ride. OFFERED AT NO RESERVE. HIGH BIDDER AT END OF AUCTION WILL OWN THE CAR. PLEASE NOTE: OUT OF RESPECT TO ALL SERIOUS BIDDERS, PLEASE HAVE YOUR FINANCES IN ORDER AND ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING.
