Vehicle Detail

This is a REPRODUCTION 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe built as a tribute to the deuce coupe featured in the 1973 movie "American Graffiti". I am the original owner and builder. The car was built using new reproduction parts hand picked from vendors from all across the country. The car weighs 2,500 pounds. Features include: Gibbons fiberglass body with 3 inch chop, PPG Canary Yellow paint, swing out front windshield, black vinyl soft top roof pad, power windows, power trunk lift, 3 inch chopped Walker radiator and radiator shroud, Vintage Air air conditioning, Wise Guys black leather '32 Ford bench seat with fold down arm rest, Mooneye's gauges, SoCal Speed Shop machine turned dash insert, AM/FM stereo CD player with remote control, trunk mounted fuel tank, Flaming River chrome steering column with tilt, Pete and Jakes chassis with an all chrome Super Bell dropped axle front end, fully boxed frame rails, Wilwood brakes (disk in front, drums in rear), Ford 9 inch rear end with 3.00:1 ring and pinion (through the first four gears the car pulls like it has a 4.56:1 rear end then a 1:1 drive ratio in fifth gear), Richmond Gear PowerTrax positive traction unit (runs quietly), 350 CID small block Chevrolet engine producing 430 horsepower with four bolt mains, Edelbrock RPM Performer aluminum heads, Edelbrock two four barrel carburetor intake manifold finished in Endurashine chrome (never needs polishing), and a matched set of two Edelbrock four barrel 500 cfm carburetors also finished in Endurashine designed specifically for this application, progressive throttle linkage, custom camshaft with a hot rod idle, Sandersen headers, all chrome Concept One engine accesory drive, MSD distributer, MSD Blaster coil, MSD 6AL ignition with rev limiter, Richmond Gear Five Speed manual transmission, Hurst shifter with chrome piston shift knob, Centerforce dual friction clutch, McCleod hydraulic throwout bearing, Denny's Drive Shaft custom drive shaft. I have receipts for most components. There is a fuel distribution block installed on the firewall where I had originally run fuel lines to four Rochester 2 barrel carburetors mounted on an Offenhauser intake manifold. I swapped out the four two barrel setup for the Edelbrock two four barrel set up for performance, but left the fuel block for nostalgia. There are two hair line cracks on the body at each of the top corners of the trunk. Pictures of these are included. The car runs, drives, and sounds exactly how it looks. It draws attention everywhere it goes. Vehicle is sold as is. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Viewings available by appointment. Please email me with any questions you have. On May-04-13 at 06:14:52 PDT, seller added the following information: I still have the Offenhauser intake manifold and carb setup. This setup looks very cool, but the car runs a lot better with the Edelbrock setup. I can make a seperate deal with the winning bidder on this item.
