This is the second Hummer H1 that I have owned. My first was a ’95 gas engine powered wagon, which has nothing on this 6.5L turbo diesel. The difference in power and drivability is like night and day. I should know, as this has been my daily driver since purchased. This Hummer is 100% stock (besides the extended snorkel and LED lights) and has never been modified. It run and drives perfectly both on and off-road. I purchased a Cummins 4BTA engine with a 4L80e transmission adapter to perform an engine swap, but do not have the time to do so. I will be including the Cummins 4BTA + transmission adapter in the auction. I will also be including a M101A2 trailer so you have a great way to tow the engine home. The good:The 6.5L TD engine has roughly 30,000 miles on it and starts right up whether hot or cold the first time, every timeThe Cummins 4BTA runs perfectly and includes the 4L80e transmission adapter, so it is ready to drop in. If you are unaware of the difference between the Cummins 4BT and 4BTA, the 4BTA is equipped with an aftercooler, and is the most preferred engine of the 4B seriesThe transmission shifts smoothly with no known issuesThe transfer case works great in all gears and has no known issuesThe soft top is a little over a year old, fits snug and is in great shape with no rips or tearsThe tires are in good shape with 70% or better treadThe wheels (5 total) are 1-piece aluminum rims, which almost any tire shop (Firestone, Merchant’s, etc…) will work onThe doghouse has been upgraded to the 2003 modelAluminum dash trimA rare jump seat is included (These are hard to find)The truck bed has an OEM Hummer bed linerAlpha steering wheelPioneer AppRadio12,000 lb. I have not had time to troubleshoot this issue, but I have been told it is an easy fixThe passenger-side rear turn signal recently stopped blinkingCTIS system is not currently connected, but all parts are includedPassenger mirror glass missingPassenger front windshield has small crack This H1 is not a street queen, but was also not abused off-road.
