1971 Honda CB

Here's a 1971 Honda CB500 that I acquired at the end of last year and held for warmer weather. It had been in deep storage for more than a decade before I bought it. Recently the carbs were cleaned to get it running again. The air filter pods are new as the bike came to me with no air box. Now it starts fine, idles, accelerates shifts and stops like it should. The tires have some cracks and will need to be replaced before any street riding. The aftermarket 4-into-1 exhaust has a slight leak at one cylinder. It looks like the fuel tank was treated at some time in the past and its in good shape. The seat has no rips or splits. The chrome is decent. The paint is original and has the scratches and stains you'd expect from a 42-year old motorcycle thats spent most of that time parked in somebodys garage. I have not cleaned or detailed the bike so it could definitley look better. Valid NJ title signed by a previous owner. I think it reasonable to expect a purchased bike to be picked up within 14 days of auctions end, so if you're using a shipper I'd advise that you start making preliminary arrangements BEFORE auctions end. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due via Paypal within 24 hours of auctions end. Payment in full within 7 days of auctions end in cash or bank money order. PayPal is OK if you want to pay their fee of 4%. Unfortunately I can no longer do business with a Buyer that has less that (20) successful transactions OR any negative history.
