Vehicle Detail
Here's the one you're looking for. Financial crisis brought on by Hurricane Isaac last year and thanks to Kemper Insurance, need to raise money to finish repairs to our house - thus, my middle-age crisis Mustang must be sacrificed. 2006 Mustang GT Premium bought brand new by me on July 14, 2006. I wanted a Roush, was told it was too late to order one for '06 and couldn't find a black '06 model nearby, so dealership installed all of the Roush equipment I wanted before I drove it home. Performed other light modifications in the next month or so, and it's been this way ever since.Guaranteed I am the original owner, this car has never left Louisiana, it's been garaged all it's life when not in use, and it's just been my daily transportation and weekend fun car ever since I bought it. Never been wrecked, never been in a ditch, have a good look at the photos, there's really not even any parking lot dings on this car. For a 2006 model, it would be very hard to find a cleaner example. I work for an automotive publishing company, I'm a middle-aged car guy and former mechanic, I AM NOT a teenager who bought this car and beat the daylights out of it. NO GAMES, I will tell you everything you need to know about this car and be brutally honest. Look at the photos, read the description carefully, I am not a car flipper, I am just forced into a situation where this car must be sold. PLEASE NOTE: I am still using this car as my daily commuter, so by the time the auction's done and you're here to pick it up, it will likely have 77,000 miles on it or right around 77,000 miles, please bear that in mind. GOOD STUFF:Car has MAC polished stainless mufflers for a deep throaty sound but it's not obnoxious. Car has a C&L aluminum cold air intake system which moves air incredibly well.Car has a Brenspeed-modded computer with the hand held tuner which requires you to run 93 octane gas, but you can recalibrate it back to stock if you like. Car has factory 3.55 rear axle.Car has Roush blue stiff handling springs.Car has Roush short-throw shifter.Car has Roush "Stage 2" identification badge on the dash.Hankook Evo V12 soft compound tires.Leather seats.Roush hood scoop.Black tinted windows.Rear defogger.Shaker 500 Stereo with Six disc changer.Heavy duty front & rear sway bars (not sure if they're Roush or not but they're big and the car handles fantastic). Gorgeous factory black paint with only a few minor rock chips here and there from passing gravel trucks (I live out in the country). Car went to the drag strip one time in January, 2007 - made four passes, ran a best of 12.98 at 103 mph and it's never been on the track again.HONESTLY, this car MIGHT have been street raced three or four times in its whole life - this has been a commuter car back-and-forth to my office and a back roads cruiser on weekends. THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO.Car still has it's OEM clutch which is almost gone - will need to be replaced in the next 1,000 - 2,000 miles tops. On all-out acceleration, clutch slips a little, but in normal driving it doesn't, but clutch pedal doesn't have much play left. Clutch job for a shop to replace is typically around $750 - $800. Decided not to replace clutch in case new owner wants to go with a high-performance clutch or replace it with a stock unit - will leave that up to the new owner. Tires are SOFT compound, means they ride and handle great - means they wear quickly! Tires have about 5,000 miles of life left in them, then I'd replace them, but everybody has different standards. That's the whole truth and nothing but. Pull a Car Fax report, it'll bore you to death on this Mustang. Please see the video I've attached, it's not great, but it gives you a good walk-a-round of the car - I don't want anyone to be confused about anything here. Plenty of photos attached. If you have questions, ASK! This car is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties implied. Buyer is responsible for picking car up in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area or arranging shipping. PAYMENT: I expect a $500 Paypal deposit within 48 hours of auction's close. Rest of payment is expected within seven days of auction's conclusion. I don't care how you pay for this car so long as you bring cash! No checks, no money orders, bring cash! Sorry, but there are too many scammers out there. Finance it however you can, I'm not a banker, I just need money to repair my house. Clear title in-hand, again, let's not play games. You get a Mustang that's been very well cared for and much loved, and I just need my house put back together. See the video below for some more details on the Mustang: Okay, Ebay won't let me post the link to the video, so please just go to Youtube and search for "nachtjager77" channel. The video of the Mustang will be on top. Or, just go to Youtube and search "2006 Mustang GT Roush" and the video turns up in the sixth or seventh spot, somewhere along there. Thanks. NO RESERVE, YOU BID, THIS CAR IS GOING TO SELL! I AM NOT A DEALER, I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER, NEVER WRECKED, NEVER ABUSED, NO RUST, LOOK AT THE PHOTOS. Thanks and if you have any questions, PLEASE ASK! Thank you again and take care.
