Very Rare 1940 Plymouth Pickup. Rust free, all original sheet metal and drive train. Truck came from South Dakota, clean title, not cut or chopped, lowered with springs and tires. We went through the truck replacing wheel bearings, all new brake lines, wheel cylinders, shoes, wiring, lights, all glass has been replaced, new Diamond Classic low pro radial white walls, blinkers added, Diamond Plate aluminum bed, all new interior including door panels, headliner, carpet and seat recovered. Gas tank was boiled and resealed, new fuel pump, new fuel line, new shocks and spring bushings. All new drive shaft, the truck retains it original engine and trans which both operate well. I am offering a 1954 Desoto 276 Hemi as an add on for $2,500 or we can rebuild it and install it in this truck. That cost will depend on how you want it. We replaced all the window channels, windshield rubber and door seals. The windshield cranks open and even includes the original handle. Paint is a Rattle Can finish with Rustolum Satin. One thing this truck still retains it original Plymouth Tailgate. Try and find one of these. Finally new correct mirrors. The speedometer and fuel gauge do not work. Amp, oil and water do. The truck runs and drives well, very dependable and not your everyday Rat Rod. It sports a vintage aluminum sun shade and moon hubcaps.
