I do towing and sometimes come across nice vehicles, mostly Dually trucks, since that's what I personally like to drive. I check them for possible problems and do a test drive. I don't buy junk or vehicles I wouldn't trust driving myself. Some of the vehicles I come across are repos or have expired tags, but are good running vehicles with no problems. If I find any problems I will post them in the listing so you know what you are bidding on. Vehicles with expired registration are especially good for buyers outside of California because back fees owed to California DMV don't apply in other States. You will also be able to legally drive the vehicle back to your State by purchasing a vehicle moving permit that you can get for $18 at any California DMV. Up for sale I have a very nice 1997 Ford F-450 F-Superduty with only 80,990 original miles. The F-Superduty series has stronger and bigger components with much higher payload and towing capacity compared to the traditional Heavy Duty trucks. This truck came from a company that ran out of business. Previously this truck used to be a city truck, so you know it has been well taken care of. It runs and drives good, there are no warning lights on, no overheating, no leaking of any kind. I drove this truck for at least two hours straight in the city and on the freeway. Engine runs strong and transmission shifts through all gears with no slipping and no delay. I noticed a minor jerk when put into "D" (drive) or "R" (reverse) and when it shifts from 1st to 2nd gear. It's not a big jerk, but I took it to a mechanic who test drove the truck and said there is nothing wrong with it, it's just a Superduty truck and that's how they feel. Another mechanically inclined person suggested to change the transmission fluid and filter, but also said there is nothing wrong with the transmission. I just wanted to put it out here for your info, but I was not too concerned there would be anything wrong with a well maintained Superduty truck that has only 80k miles and used to belong to the city. The exterior is straight with no dents, just the front bumper is slightly bent as you can see in the pictures, but I didn't even noticed it at first. Paint is nice and shiny. This truck use to be yellow and was painted white after it was purchased from the city. Interior is very clean and in pretty good shape besides a few minor things. The front bench has a couple of rips on the sides and on the back side of the back rest as you can see in the pictures. Also the dash has minor scratches and a few screw holes where a vhf radio was attached. Other than that there is no other damage. The utility body is in great shape with lots of storage and all the compartments lock with a key. It also has a heavy duty tow hitch, two 12V outlets and two fold out seats in the back. AC/heater, radio and gauges work good. Truck has dual gas tanks and both work, but one doesn't show how much gas is in there. All 6 tires are in good shape and have lots of tread left, about 80%. This truck holds a clean/clear title and I have it on hand. IMPORTANT: registration has been out since October 2012 and it it will cost about $650 to bring the registration up to date. This fee does not apply to buyers outside of California. This truck is being sold as is where is with no warranty. Buyer is responsible for pickup in a timely manner. If you have any questions or would like to test drive the truck prior to placing a bid you can write me or call or text me @ 310-872-4718. Thank you and happy bidding. NAM MYOHO RENGE KYOOn May-01-13 at 13:11:49 PDT, seller added the following information: Only one more day left till the auction ends. Again, this truck runs and drives and shifts great. It's been sitting in the same spot for two weeks now and there is not a single drop of fluid under the truck and it's super clean under the hood. I know the winning buyer will be very happy with this great running and clean truck and it will last a long time. Remember, this is a F-Superduty, not just the heavy duty, it's built to last. And 80xxx miles is nothing for this truck. Just the utility bed alone is worth $2,000. The whole truck including utility bed values $8,000.Happy bidding on this "NO RESERVE" auction.
