Complete Frame and Chassis Ready For Rotisserie Restoration.. Little History On the MC - Fixed Head Coupe. During its small 3 year production run, just over 8800 Jaguar XK140s were produced. Of those imported to the United States, the smallest production was of the Fixed Head coupe. The XK140MC gave standard wire wheels, two fog lights. overdrive and twin exhaust system to replace the standard single pipe. As with the XK120 a further option was an more powerful 210 bhp engine with the "C" type cylinder head, which was Le Mans tested and proven and larger 2 inch SU carburetors. This Rare special equipment 'MC' package.The 'M' includes a crankshaft damper, wire wheels, dual exhaust pipes, and twin fog lamps. This particular XK140 MC Fixed head Coupe Model is capable of reaching 130 mph due to its rare factory-installed Laycock de Normanville overdrive which was featured in only approximately 550 or less of the entire production, most of which are no longer in existence.
