I bought this car new of the showroom floor at John Robert's BMW in Dallas for my wife's birthday. It has been parked in the garage every night, always serviced, kept clean and waxed all it's life. She never drove it in any other state or in bad weather. No wrecks or major mechanical problems. It drives great, everything works, cold a/c, and good Michelin tires. The paint is nice and bright... I think the car looks almost as good as it did in the showroom! My wife got around 20 - 22 mpg city and 30 -34 highway There are a couple of dings and scratches typical of parking lots. The rear upper plastic bumper cover has some sun fading. The top is the original with no leaks, but the plastic window was replaced a few years back. I calked around it as the thread they used was terrible. It looks kind of tacky, but its waterproof. The insert on the driver's door and the rear seat belt cover are things that I was going to replace, but all these items I mentioned are actually not that noticeable. Ashtrays could pass as new, and the lighter does work! Texas Title, is clear. Never any liens (I paid in cash for it). I still have the original window sticker, and all the books that came with it. The spare has a stamped metal wheel. It was used once and driven on maybe 2 miles. You would not know that by just looking at it. The Disc Player/Changer is OEM BMW. The entire sound system is as well, it sounds awesome! No blown speakers. No cracks in the dash. No alarm system. The radio is BMW code protected, so if stolen, it will not work without the code, and I'm told all the thieves know that. It has a flashing red light same as the BMW alarm system, so only the owner would know if it actually has an alarm or not. Always thought that was kind of clever of them!
