1988 Rolls Royce Silver Spur in excellent condition and low miles. The Silver Spur is the long-wheel base model. It is 17.5 ft. long and fits in a standard 20x20 garage. The 1988 RR comes with much needed updates to the model that was introduced in the early 1980's, including anti-lock brakes. If you are looking for your first RR, consider a 1988 or later model! I've had this car professionally maintained by a RR mechanic since I brought it from California a year ago. Some of the the maintenance items included replacing the battery and a radiator hose. The engine and transmission have been tuned-up. In addition, the power steering rack was rebuilt and overhauled completely and a faulty fuel pressure control valve was replaced. I also replaced both brake accumulator spheres. All belts, brakes and hoses have been inspected as well as hinges lubed. All four tires and the spare are in good condition. The A/C was also charged and R12 added. This has been a smoke-free car. The leather and wood are all in great condition. The RR passed the Texas Safety Inspection with no issues. It has no rust and the exterior is in very good condition with some minor nicks. It has radio and automatic antenna. Although the vehicle history report shows "accident reported" the mechanic could not tell if the car was involved in a major collision, so it appears that the issue may have been minor or a non-collision incident. In California, an incident, such as an accident or non-collision incident with an estimated cost of 750.00 is reported as an "accident." In a RR, just about anything is over 750.00. The blue paint and tan leather interior with blue piping are a nice combination. This auction has a low reserve!
