Vehicle Detail

For your consideration, my 1972 Ford LTD Country Squire. This car is in fantastic condition in and out.   The body is in very good condition.  The paint is very good with plenty of shine.  The Di-Noc is in very good shape with very little flaws.  There's some peeling on the fiberglass trim around the edges and a little wear near the gas cap.  The rest is very good condition.  The bumpers are like new with very little wear.  The tires are new Hankook whitewalls.  All four hubcaps are there and in good shape.  This car came from the factory with no luggage rack.  The antenna is missing and needs to be replaced. The interior is in good shape, as well.  The only major flaw is a small rip in the side of the driver's side front bench seat.  The vinyl is all supple and clean.  The carpet is complete and in good shape, with matching floor mats.  The door panels are all in good condition, as well.  The headliner's in good shape, and the rear cargo area has average wear for a car this age.  All the windows go up and down as they should, including the power rear window which can be operated from the dash or with the key in the tailgate.  The tailgate can be finnicky sometimes opening and closing as a door, versus a gate, but does work.   The engine runs smoothly and like new.  I drove the car through Madison in rush hour traffic, and 40 miles on the interstate, going about 80 and the car ran, drove, stopped, handled like a dream.  All the lights and signals work properly, the AM radio works.  Everything works as it should, minus the clock, the antenna is missing, and the gas gauge is finnicky.   The underneath is clean, with no rust through anywhere on the frame or floorboards.  The only rusty point is a small spot on the spare tire well. Recent work done with receipts to prove it: -New Hankook tires (mount, balance, etc)-Rebuilt Starter-New Flasher-New Brake Line and Fitting-New Radiator Cap-New Wheel Cylinders-New Radiator-New Front and Rear Shocks-New Water Outlet Gasket-New Thermostat-New Carburetor Kit (Accelerator Pump)-New Air Cleaner-New Muffler and other Exhaust Components I also have the original title, issued 1/27/1972 to a Mr. Jack Bell of Middleton, WI. This wagon is not perfect, it has little spots of rust, some wear as would be expected on a 40 year old car.  I tried to take plenty of pictures to show this car honestly and truthfully.  It would not take a lot to make it perfect.  If you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask me. This car is turnkey and ready to go.  Perfect for taking the whole family for a ride, or maybe  just a trip down memory lane to the days where every Mom and Dad on the block had a woodie wagon in the driveway.  These cars were built to haul all the kids, pets, the camper or boat, or a trailer full of materials and a cargo area full of 4x8's.  They were built to be tough, but comfortable and stylish.  Their aim for longevity is very well apparent in this example.  Don't miss out on your chance to own a very clean original car.  Remember, they're only original once.   This car is sold as-is, where is with no warranty.  I also have it for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time.   Thanks for looking and feel free to contact me with any questions. -Tom
