This strong Ford F-350 for sale would make a great work/tow truck. The large 7.3 diesel engine can handle anything you throw on it. The truck is ready to go with the tow hitch on the back. You can’t really find a 4 door diesel truck this cheap or reliable. INTERIOR: This truck looks great on the inside. Nothing appears to be broken, and everything seems to work. This is impressive for a 1988 work truck. Instead of using carpet on the floor, ford used a rubber molding so this truck can resist any type of stain. This truck really is work ready! EXTERIOR: The outside of this truck is honestly not that bad of shape. Considering its age and purpose, there some scratches on the side of the bed shown in the pictures. There doesn’t seem to be any major damage to the body at all. In fact, there is no rust on the exterior of this truck, meaning this will go a long time without problems. There is a little hole inside the jam of the drivers sids door shown in the pictures. MOTOR/HANDLING: I was surprised when this truck started right up. I can tell the way this vehicle looks and drives that it was maintained very well. There are no odd sounds or smells coming from the engine and the fluids look good. The odometer is only built to have 5 dials. So it says there are only 85,556 miles on it. There is actually only 185,556. This is low miles for a diesel engine. They will usually go 300k+ at least! I did notice when I was driving the truck, the truck shifted rough. I do not know if this is because the transmission is built to handle a big load? Maybe programmed to shift aggressive. Either way the truck did drive exactly the way it was supposed to. Looking for a great running diesel with low miles and a lot of power? Something with a strong solid body with plenty of room? Something that will do the job but not cost so much? LOOK NO FURTHER!!
