1978 Chevrolet K20 ¾ ton 4x4 Long Bed First I want to thank you for taking time to look at my truck. The current mileage of this truck is unknown due to the fact that the speedometer cable was broken when I got it. I have owned the truck for about four years. It has a 350 small block with a mild cam, not sure of the exact specs on the motor. I didn't build it. When I bought the truck it looked pretty much like it does now. I did however do a lot a mechanical work to the truck after I bought it. The truck is stored winters and most of the time in the summer. It is only driven a couple thousand miles a year. If you notice the front drive shaft isn't in the truck. The 4 wheel drive works great but I have some buddies who have mud trucks and I can just see the first time they called me a wuss I'd have it up to the doors so I just removed it to prevent my own stupidity. It worked, the truck has barely seen rain since I've owned it, and never mud and snow. This truck is a real head turner and runs great. Since I have bought the truck I have added or replaced • Battery • Starter • Alternator • Rebuilt the Carburetor • Fuel filter • Brakes • Water pump • Brake booster • Master Cylinder • Door locks • Seat belts and sun visors. • Upper and lower ball joints • Various gaskets, oil pan, valve covers, header • New Sony Xplode Stereo with Sony speakers in the doors, amp and subwoofer behind the seat. Plenty of stereo for a truck cab • I replaced the transfer case with a rebuilt New Process 205 gear to gear that my friend built for his pulling truck then sold. I also have the old NP 205 and a Muncie SM465 4 speed that would need rebuilt but they are getting hard to find so they are nice to have around. I also have a new Ram Clutch in the tool box, the old one works fine just have a spare. The bad, still never fixed the speedometer cable. That was kind of the last thing on the list. With 4:10 gears your chances of a speeding ticket are pretty slim anyway. It needs hoses and the nozzles for the windshield washer. The glove box needs a new lock/latch on it. I am not interested in trades due to buying my daughter another vehicle. I still owe a little on this truck so it will take a week or so to get the title. This vehicle has no warranty but you are welcome to come and look at it prior to purchase. I have nothing to hide. It can be purchased with cash or certified check. Buyer is responsible for shipping.
