2002 Honda CRV EX: Realtime 4WD with 5 speed manual. We are the second owners of this vehicle, having purchased it in April of 2006 with approximately 34,000 miles. We have used it primarily as an inclement weather/winter vehicle, hence the continued low miles. It was delivered as a new US specification military sales vehicle to Germany where we bought and we imported back to the US in the summer of 2013. It is currently titled in Kansas.The CRV is Mojave Mist over tan cloth. Standard features on this CRV EX include factory tinted windows, keyless entry (have both remotes), ignition immobilzer built into factory key, power windows, locks, mirrors, cruise, side front seat air bags, and power tilt/slide moonroof with sunshade. I changed the original OEM head-unit to a 2004 model year unit with an aux port to accept a hard wired Ipod adapter, which is included. The head unit is from another CRV EX and retains the 6 disc CD changer and cassette player. The rims, including the spare, are 16 inch CRV rims from a 2005 SE. Also included are the OEM all weather mats, OEM cargo mat with cargo net and rear mud guards. The original cloth mats are still in the vehicle under the all weather mats. This CRV has been maintained to factory standards with oil and filter changes approximately every 3,000 miles with recent service highlights to include: Just changed the engine oil and filter, cabin air filters, engine coolant, front wipers, and rear differential dual pump fluid (always used Honda OEM fluids). The oil change was due and I had the other items on hand, so just completed the work at the same time. Overall the CRV is in great shape and very clean! There are no "dead" dash lights or warning lights on the dash. It runs and drives well and the AC blows nice and cold. There are a number of small dents on the hood (snow and ice slid off the roof of the garage) although there is no breaks in the paint. There is also a small door ding on the passenger front fender. I believe that a paintless dent removal service could probably remedy all of this. The driver's seat and top of the steering wheel show normal age appropriate wear. The outboard rear passenger seats have small areas where the cloth was pushed down by child seats, but there are no rips or stains.The under carriage had some nominal surface corrosion from its winter use with absolutely no perforation, with the affected surfaces sanded and then primed and painted with Rustbullet over its entirety as a precaution. Tiffany Spring's (Missouri) Honda gave the vehicle a clean bill of health in November of 2012 / 81,444 miles and completed all open recalls at that time with a clean Carfax in February of 2013. We would love to keep this CRV, but a pending military move to Texas poses the hassle of shipping this car as a third vehicle again and we don't think that we will really need it down there, given the weather. The driver's seat and top of the steering wheel show normal age appropriate wear.
