You are bidding on a very clean, very well maintained 1959 Apache fleet side short bed. This truck has been serving as a daily driver for the last 2 years by a man who spent over $7K in rebuilding the entire drivetrain, exhaust, suspension, and brakes. I have all the receipts. Fleet side short beds with big window Deluxe Cabs are not easy to find in this condition. The engine and transmission have 29,000 miles of regular driving since the rebuild and it runs and shifts really well. The engine is the larger 235 with a split manifold that exits into new dual exhaust mufflers and tailpipes. The engine compartment and frame have been cleaned, repainted and refurbished. She sits on brand new T/A radials with steel wheels and baby moons. Inside, the seat has been reupholstered in correct grey pattern and color. The gauge cluster has been rebuilt and lights up bright. The windows work smoothly and all glass is in great original shape. There is no rust in the door hinges or cab corners, or bottom of the fenders where you usually find some. The original heater/defroster is in perfect working order (try finding one of these on your own). The front fender eyebrows need the usual repair and the rear of the driver side cab does as well. That being said, the body is very solid and wouldn’t take much to be ready for paint. I will be offering the truck for sale locally as well, so I may end the auction at any time.
