First and formost I am no expert on these 914 porsches. Up for auction is a 1972 Porsche 914. 27,671 documented original miles. The body and floors look rust free. There is a little rust in the trunk. I was told this car has always been stored indoors. It appears everything works. The engine runs great and trans shifts through all the gears smoothly.The porsche has been in storage about 8 yrs so plan on doing a tune up and maybe some minor mantinance. Contact Tim for more info 765 377 0022.On Apr-16-13 at 10:59:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Update after looking the car over very well and doing some research I wanted to let everyone know the wheels on it are not original and its had one repaint . The interior is near perfect Seats carpet center armrest door panels all perfect the only flaw I could find was 2 splits in the dash pad. The outside on the body is rust free with the exception of a couple spots where the paint is bubbled or chiped. Floor pans look rust free as well I have lifted the carpet and looked. The Engine is a carburated 1.7 with dual exhaust tips. I would trailer the car since it has only been driven 7,000 miles since 1983. There is a area of rust in the rear trunk where the tail panel and floor meet. I have the Original owners manual and paper work. I will be adding more photos today. so take a look tonight after 8 pm.
