Vehicle Detail
"Herbie the Love Bug" themed beetle. Originally a Nevada car - (heated) garaged kept for over 10 years in PA The previous owner of this car got it in a package deal - they more or less had to take it in order to get a 37 Packard. They garaged the car in its current condition. They took care to cover and kept it climate controlled. The original owner lost his eyesight and the car was never completed. All work has been first class with no short cuts or shoddy workmanship. The engine was brand new at the time of installation. Everything appears to have been done with true workmanship in mind. It is my opinion that everything is there to finish the car. I had the opportunity to get under the car and it appears to be in very very good condition, but was not restored underneath, all the same it looks like it wasn't needed. Small roof scratch and slight rust inside right side headlight area as shown in pictures. Also a small chip in one door. There are also some small moisture bubbles on roof, unable to get them to show in a photo. There are a lot of clips, nuts, and bolts ect ect that would just take up too many photos. I tried my best to give a good description of this car. So if this is a big concern try to enlarge the photos. The new headliner has been installed. All parts necessary for interior completion - including new seat covers, all interior panels, and pieces included, just needs an inspired owner. Car is immaculate! Look at the pictures and you be the judge. I strongly advise viewing the vehicle prior to purchase. Clear title and I am not looking for any trades. A $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction completion. Balance to be paid in cash prior to title transfer. Note - Pictures were taken 3/30/13 but camera date not correctly set so pictures showing year 2007. Car relisted as requested by previous bidders, price has also been reduced! Happy bidding!
