This is a very clean matching numbers 1973 Chevy Nova Custom loaded with documentation. I have the original Car Invoice, Sales Contract, New Vehicle Warranty, and the Original Bill of Sale from the Dealership which was Olive Hill Motor Sales out of Olive Hill, KY. Also, has the Original spare and jack in trunk and wheel trim ring instruction sheet. Car also has the Original GM Floormats and the key cutouts of the original GM Keys with the Orig. GM KEYS. (I have never seen this before) I have never seen a car this original with this much documentation and history. Buyer will be very pleased with this car. This car has been a Kentucky car it's whole life and yet is very solid. It has had one repaint that I know of and from what I was told by previous owner that was around 5-7 yrs ago. But, the paint still presents itself well. It has two small blisters on driver quarter lip and a couple at nose of hood. Other than that, this car's paint is really nice and has a nice shine. This car has a history from original as well. With only 3 documented owners. I was told this car was bought new in Olive Hill, KY by an older Gentleman for his daughter to drive back and forth to Morehead State Univ. Paper work shows this. The car was on the road through the 80's and when the daughter graduated the car was still driven regularly for a few more years and then taken back home and put in a barn only to sit there for the next 15 or so years. This is where it finally changed hands to the previous owner before me. He had the car painted and added some new tires, exhaust, etc. The interior is all original. The seats are perfect and the dash/steering wheel still have the grain on them. Only things not original are the Stereo (tape deck don't work and antenna don't pick up well, but it does work with good speakers) and the wheels (I have a set of the original rally wheels in burgandy that go with it.) This car runs great and rides good. The rear shocks are air shocks and they seem to work ok, but I would replace them with some gas shocks due to age as the passenger side tends to leak off every 2-3 weeks. If I were to keep it I would just replace them all. (not very expensive at all). Car has 4 wheel drum brakes and stops good. However they do not have power assist, so you do have to push them a bit harder than most newer cars. Pwr steering works great. I just installed a new modulator valve at it went bad and I still have the original to go with car. Just changed the oil and filters as well about 400 miles ago. The headliner has a spot just above the passenger rear seat about 1ft in a circle that is down a bit. I don't think it needs replaced. I would pull the trim and spray some spray tack and re stick it to the board. I'm trying to be as honest as I can and am usually the type to knitpick a car. This is a very nice car and I don't think you would find one any cleaner anywhere for the money.
