Vehicle Detail

Getting sick and tired of the up and down ridiculous gas prices?? With the price of gasoline skyrocketing yet again, there's no better time to buy an alternative fuel vehicle. Here is your chance to own a hard to find 1998 Honda Civic GX CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) sedan. Save big $$$ with natural gas, while helping clean up the environment. This is a factory CNG package, NOT an aftermarket retrofit. Dedicated CNG system, NOT bifuel. This was an expensive factory option. For sale 1998 Honda Civic GX. Again, this is Natural Gas Vehicle. This car has a low 89k miles. It is in very good running condition. There are no major problems with the car. Includes: custom wheels, good tires, new paint (no cheap job here - the paint has a 4 year guarantee!), California Car pool stickers -- use the car pool lane by yourself! Also, a killer stereo with IPod connection, Bluetooth, hands free, USB, Pandora, CD, Aux input, and (very rare for a GX) wiring for rear speakers. Only issue: 2 power windows are intermittent. Newish catalytic converter. In addition to saving time by using the car pool lane, you save money on gas -- In N. Calif., CNG is about $2/GGE (Gasoline gallon equivalent). I consistently get 34-37 MPG, and about 200 miles / tank. In some states gas is about $1.00. Equipped with the reliable and highly efficient 1.6L VTEC SOHC engine and automatic transmission (not the somewhat problematic CVT transmission of the 2001-2005-era Civics). Selling since I have another Honda Civic GX (my 3rd! - I love these cars, I have driven about 250,000 miles so far on Natural Gas). More info on CNG: CNG burns with practically no emissions compared to petroleum fuel so each mile you drive helps the environment....THINK GREEN CNG is safer (less volatile) than gasoline. CNG poses little if any environment risk of contamination and in the event of an accident where tanks are breached, it evaporates into the air with no spill. Most new busses are now CNG including school busses. CNG is not corrosive like gasoline and wears MUCH easier on a motor. Most CNG fueled engines require oil changes less frequently and sparkplugs last almost forever. Overall engine life is usually significantly extended. CNG fill stations are growing more and more each day. Check the links below for fill station locations across the US. CNG Station Locators I'm in N Calif., so I mostly fill up at PG&E stations; I’ll include a booklet that lists these and many more in the western States or you might try: www.cngnow.com/stations/Pages/information.aspx www.cleanenergyfuels.com Delivery Car can be picked up in Fairfield, CA (half way in between San Francisco, and Sacramento) or by prior arrangment I will meet at any Bay Area airport. I maybe able to deliver, after payment received, if needed, email me to arrange details.
