Vehicle Details 2000 Jeep Cherokee Mileage: 130,924 Transmission: Automatic and wrorking perfectly Engine: 6 Cylinder, 4.0 L Title: Clear Description: Very nice clean Jeep starts right up runs great. Drives straight and true. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as ride and comfort. Good suspension near new Michelin tires (700 dollar value)(90% new) No smoke no strange noises. Issues: 1) Check engine light is on. Peep Boys scanned it for Evap Leak. 2) Oil pressure runs normal for about 20 minutes then slowly runs down. I have googled this and have found it is rather common and repairs mentioned are many. They range from ignoring the gauge, installing a Gauge sending unit, a new Oil pump, a new High Vol. Oil pump. Main bearings and or even a simple vacuum leak. 3) Electric door lock is sometimes erratic. But hasn't been a issue for me. 4) Gonna need a muffler sooner or later ($40 at PepBoys) So here's the thing these jeeps run forever they all need tinkering this one is no exception. it has relatively low milage for being 13 years old it looks great it drives great I'm buying a new car so I am not about to invest another nickel into it. Prices on a nice Jeep like this range from 3500 to 5000 dollars. And I am sure they all have something that needs attention. I'm listing mine at no reserve and with as much info that I can think of. I don't know exactly what she will need if anything but high bidder takes it.
