Vehicle Detail
Got the pictures up! 1966 Plymouth Valiant 200 Rat Rod project candidate. Runs! Clear Title! This was a college kid's vehicle from a few years back. Has had some basic rust prep done on the fenders, floor boards (drivers/passenger) are pretty much rotted out, rear floor boards seem solid although have surface rust (see photo). Engine clean. Body basically clean, but has its issues. The rear 1/4 panels are rotted on the bottom. Original rear seat, clean with no tears. Front seats are replacements with homemade mounts - mounts would need to be replaced. Everything electric works. Radio missing. The rubber will work for now, nothing great but nothing that won't last during restoration. The wheels are each missing 1-2 lug nuts. These were probably broken off when he did the brake work but can be easily replaced. Newer dual master brake cylinder installed with new brake lines. Brakes work, but need adjustment. Missing the rubber hose from the manifold to the carb. Keys work in doors and trunk. Right passenger door opens from inside, but not outside. All other doors work fine. Glass is all good, no cracks. Front windshield has some fogging around the edges. Drives, but not road worthy due to lug nuts and brake adjustments. I drove it up the ramp and two blocks off the ramp to my driveway. Too much to do and no time for this project. New battery in June and also a fairly new large donut spare. We can talk about pick-up with some flex up to May. Last registered 2012. All-in-all an excellent Rat-Rod candidate that doesn't need a lot of work. Priced to move it on to the next owner. Now with pictures, sorry about last listing, Ebay wouldn't let me add photos last day. Located at intersection of I95 and I70.
