Vehicle Detail
This is an AWESOME Fully Custom West Coast 240Z. I bought this from a dealer who took it in on trade and did not know the full history or specs. I'm a Z collector. I will tell you what I was told and what I can see. This car was fully customized sometime in the 80's/90's... much time and money was spent on the restoration and custom features and it shows in the car. It has a built L28 motor with triple Webber set up, headers, and custom exhaust. I dont know what was done to the internals of the motor but it runs excellent, hauls A**, and sounds like a Ferrari. I beleive there is a cam and some port work but dont know for sure. The car runs and drives excellent. Fantastic track car, daily driver or weekend cruiser, or addition to any collection. The car was customized and painted in the jdm style of the time... body is straight with no collision damage that I can see... very solid with some minor bubbles in the doors. Molded JDM style body kit was done well. Older custom paint looks good with some imperfections and blemishes but still presents quite nicely. There was some previous rust repair in sections of the floor boards and rear hatch sill... its showing some age and could use some attention. I'd say its a perfect track day car, race car, or auto crosser... fine for a daily driver... needs some love to be a cruise winner or show car. Interior is in nice shape and very nicely customized and detailed. Sport seats are firm and comfortable. Panels, headliner and carpet are covered in custom fabric and look nice. The entire car has been fully insulated and the cabin is firm and quiet. Dash has a custom cover and looks great. Gauges and electronics all work except clock and tach jumps sometimes. Custom stereo including amps and multi speakers installed but not turning on currently... I have looked into it. L28 motor runs awesome. It appears to have been rebuilt recently but I dont know that. The triple Webbers are dialed in nicely and it starts, idles, and runs great. This car is fast... I mean it. The custom exhaust is really nice and sounds awesome. 5 speed trans has a custom short shifter and shifts smooth through the gears... clutch is strong. Suspension feels tight and handles great... stops straight and sure. SUPER nice driver. Overall this is a Fantastic Custom Z car in excellent condition all around... Easy daily driver or weekend cruiser, or potential track car. I am a Z collector... this is a great one for any Z car enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool, original vintage sports car at a great price. The car is located in Beverly Hills... Inspections are welcome and encouraged... serious buyers can call me at 310 850 8980 but no tire kickers please. I'm open to interesting trades but no projects or junk please.
