For auction I have a 1996 Ram 1500 4x4. It's a good looking straight truck. It does have some dents, dings, and scratches from being used as a truck is intended, to haul stuff. The bed is solid, but has been used for hauling and work. The truck has a real strong running 318, and passed emissions this year. The truck does have some miles but the engine is strong and runs smooth. The truck has Flowmaster exhaust and sounds great. It is loud enough to turn heads without being obnoxious; it sounds like a truck should. The engine starts immediately with just a turn of the key. The 4x4 engages no problem. The truck has a nice stance and looks tough! Now for the bad. The transmission needs work. I believe that the stator let got in the torque convertor. I started pulling the transmission, but did not finish. I have too many project and not enough time. Because I didn't finish getting the transmission out I'm not sure if there is anything else other than the torque convertor that will need to be replace or not. This is a good truck that just needs some transmission work; it will have to be hauled. I have plenty of room to accommodate any size tow rig or rollback. It's a rust free southern truck; the frame is straight and there are no signs of major collisions. I have a clean and clear GA title in hand in my name ready to be signed over to the new owner. It would make a great father and son project, work truck, or add a little lift and tires and have a killer looking mud truck. Please see the pictures and video. Please note that anything unusual sounding in the video is from an exhaust leak. I reinstalled the exhaust but didn't torque down the flanges because I know who ever gets the truck will end up removing it anyway to pull the transmission.
