This is a 1954 Renault 4CV sedan. In drivable condition. During the German occupation of France in WWII. The 4CV was created (in secrecy) to become the first french car to sell in the post war years. The car runs and drives however it does need TLC, A paint job, minor body work (dings etc) and a new interior as the interior sad to say is original. The rear seat is an example of what is original, the two fronts needs to be re-upholstered. It has new tires, and a bit of brake work, all the glass is original and in good shape. Door cards should be re-done...this car has been in Arizona most of it's life so no real rust problems. The door stops ( canvas straps that keep the doors from going all the way back are missing (fronts are suicide doors). I have a box with extra replacement parts, radiator hose, knobs, mechanicals,extra shift rod etc... the rear engine also has a stater (push button) so that when tuning it up you can start without being in the cab, turn the key on, go back and start it. The engine starts and runs great. Leaks a bit of oil at the valve cover, but it's no spring chicken either. The mileage says 24,287...It's is a unique vehicle and you wont see many of them, some of the ones i have seen are with the Dauphine engine which fits nicely into the CV4. The mileage I believe is higher, no way of knowing what it was or is. This car gets a lot of strange looks as in the rear, looks like a VW, in the front, something like a a ford. I am selling (everyone asks why) because i have way too many other carsand need to thin the stock. My reserve is reasonable... The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements.
