I bought this truck about 6 months ago thinking I was going to go into the towing business as well as move my own cars from auction to auction. It needed some work when I got it. I replaced the starter, power brake hydro booster, rear brakes and calipers, repaired the micro brake, added 2 new mufflers, serviced the truck from oil change to grease etc. I got the truck in pretty good running condition and almost ready to put on the road when the winter came on us. It was too cold to work outside and eventually lost interest in operating a towing company.. I did use the truck many time to pick up our cars as well as donation cars from a radius of 100 out. The truck never left me stranded on the side of the road and is rather good on fuel. The odometer stopped working on the truck before I bought it so I don't know how many miles there are on it. But the engine runs very good and starts each and every time during the cold weather as well. The transmission is a standard shift and no problems with shifting through the gears. All shifts are smooth with no slipping or noises. The clutch is right there and no problems here as well. This truck was used as a flat bed roll back it's entire life. I'm sure there will other issues considering the age and use of this truck. However I used the truck and had no problems with it up to this point when the front rotors went bad. Come check it out or have it checked out prior to bidding. It is currently a single car carrier but the bed rolls backs and down the ground as well for loading. It also looks like the wheel lift has been welded in place. Not sure how you could reverse this or even if you could. But it is there should you wish to try. The roll back bed will take a full size extended cab one ton pickup truck... As of this time the front brake rotor is no good and needs to be replaced before the truck can be driven away. For $130.00 clutch and brake in Worcester MA has them in stock and I would recommend replacing both. My guys can do that for you if you wish. The cost of the rotors plus new pads and 2 hours labor at $40,00 per hour. I guessing under $380.00 for everything or you can do it yourself when you get here. Either way it's up to you but they need replacing before you drive it.. Now you know what I know about this truck. The picture will depict the underside as shown. The glow plugs maybe a little week but it always starts no matter how cold it was. Just turned over a few times first. I would ask if you bid on this truck please plan to follow through on the sale should you win. I'm not asking for a deposit of any kind but would ask that if you decide to bid please male sure that you can come to our location in Oxford, MA 01537 within 4 days after the sale to inspect the truck and make sure it is what we say it is. Pay for in full (cash only) and make arrangements to drive it home. If you are unable to come here with the 4 days after the sale you must arrangement payment in full by the 4th day or we may relist the truck or sell to the 2nd highest bidder.
