Vehicle Detail
Well were do i start on this car.it is a true barn find it has been sitting for the past 25 years the owner is 85 years old and has had the car for 45 years I brought it to my shop changed the oils, flushed the cooling system put water and anti freeze, flushed the fuel system put new fuel lines, put gas in it and it fired right up.checked all the brakes.and drove it down the road it runs great trans works great hydromatic ,brakes work all the lights work gauges work its crazy that i found this car and its even crazier that he wants to sell it so here it is.he told me that he brought the car here from hawii 35 years ago drove it and actualy bracket raced it,and then parked it after he got a new car the car has some old school magnesium wheels on it the tires still have the new stickers on them but are very old and i would change them, the only rust i found were at the top of the winshield there is a small hole and at the top of the back window both on the passinger side both are easy fixes, see pictures ,it also has the factory rubber matt on the floor ,it also has a heater under the seat that is factory he said he unhooked it 30 years ago but it is all there he assures me that he has the hood inserts and the hood ornament somewere in his garage that you cant even walk into bcuz it is so packed with stuff,i do have the side moldings complete set that came with the car and they are in great shape he said he took them off so no one would steal them ,the trunk is in excellent condition and has no rust in it at all, this is a very cool and vintage old pontiac you can drive it as is or restore it either way it is cool.personaly i would leave it the way it is,anyway this is a no reserve auction and the car will sell for what it goes for good luck and happy bidding.
